A graduate of the writing program at the University of Redlands, Greg went on to  indulge in his love for lifestyle editing and writing at the San Antonio Express-News, where he served as dining guide editor, launching its inaugural issue. Shifting gears to hard news, he moved on to the Orange County Register, where his superiors quickly recognized his strengths and promptly promoted him to assistant copy editing supervisor. Most recently, Greg lived several years in the Arabian Gulf imparting his writing and editing expertise as a faculty member in the Department of Writing Studies for the American University of Sharjah, UAE, one of the premier institutions of higher learning in the region, and in Kazakhstan at Nazarbayev University. His work and life experience has, thus, come full circle, from student and practitioner of writing and journalism, to educator of fledgling young writers.  Greg now spends his time with freelance editing projects and teaching academic English at the tertiary level.
